Heroes of the Forest- 1Year Anniversary :)

Hey everyone! I was just looking through my pictures, when I found a script-version of a story I wrote a long time ago. I had originally planned on performing this play on Animal Jam, which is why all the characters are mentioned as wolves indirectly. However, it never worked out. D: I was reading through the story I wrote all that time ago and thought "Wow... this is really good!" I kept thinking about the story for several minutes after I finished reading it. XD

Not long after I finished reading the story, I clicked on the picture of the first page of the script to see how long it had been since I created the story. Here is what I discovered.

TOMORROW THIS STORY WILL HAVE OFFICIALLY EXISTED FOR A FULL YEAR!!! :O

To celebrate this, I decided to post the story for everyone viewing this post to read. Here it is! :D

Sorry... :P

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been what seems like 10,000 years since I posted on this blog. This week we took our state's version of the end-of-year test, so I was busy with that and with other things... :P All 5 sections were pretty easy for the most part. I AM SO GLAD THESE TESTS ARE FINALLY OVER!!! Now our schedule won't be so chaotic when we go back to school on Monday. :D

Man... I've been really restless today it seems. :l

In Band I kept getting carried away and playing wrong notes.

In Science I severely overreacted to a topic our class discussed.

In Drama Club I couldn't stand still and kept talking out of turn (oops?).

In Girl Scouts I attempted to talk over someone. At this point I felt extremely annoyed and guilty. :l

I guess the fact that this was the last day of our end-of-year test didn't help anything. :P

Anyways, we had just settled in for another typical day of Social Studies when our teacher played an AWESOME song for us on her SmartBoard. After the song ended she explained to us about a Decades Project that is due May 13 (ick now I have an essay AND a project... oh well XD).

Believe it or not, I actually heard this song once when I was in elementary school. This song actually played in the background of a video that was playing on my dad's computer of a motorcycle that crashed so severely that a MASSIVE fire started and completely totaled the bike.

That video gave me nightmares for weeks... (I was only 9, and I didn't notice the motorcycle rider running away from the fire)...

Because I thought this song was extremely awesome, I decided to see if I could look up the original version of it and play it. After all, I could only remember hearing the chorus in elementary school. :P

While I was looking it up, I realized that the video our teacher was the 5th video on the first page. Lol. :P

I decided to click on the video right below that one because I had a feeling it was the original version, and I was in for a surprise...

Me When I Clicked This Video: Wait this is that parody again... wait... the title says "lyrics," and not "parody..." THIS IS THE ORIGINAL?!?!?! WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

I couldn't even believe it, so I decided to look up that motorcycle video I had watched all that time ago for proof.

Sure enough, it was still there... and it proved me right. O_O

Now that I think about it, that song was extremely unfitting for this video other than the chorus... LOL :P

Man I feel bad for the guy who got his motorcycle totaled. Hopefully he was able to get a new one since then... O_O

It seriously feels like watching this video with my dad foreshadowed me falling in love with the song in the background of this video 4 and a half years later... lol. :P

That's all for now, and TGTEOYTIO!!! (Thank Goodness The End-Of-Year Test Is Over!!!) :P

P.S: No, I do not own either of the videos in this post. All credit goes to Billy Joel, the singer of the song in these two videos, and the creators of these videos.

:D

Hey everyone! Today was an extremely happy day for me overall. :D :D :D

This morning I was just getting settled in my homeroom after our screen was set up to display the announcements. All of a sudden, the radio that played in the background while everyone was waiting for the announcements to come on played one of the best songs EVER!!! It brought back so many amazing memories of 5th grade and of my 5th grade teacher (this song was her favorite :') )! I wasn't the only kid in my class who became addicted to this song either. :D Here is the song that played! :D

All credit goes to Journey and the creator of this video. I do not, I repeat, DO NOT, own this song or the video. Enjoy! :D

At the end of 5th grade we secretly changed some of the lyrics in this song and sang it for my 5th grade teacher at the 5th grade "graduation" party. I will never forget that day when we surprised my teacher by singing this song. Shortly after, she gave out two Outstanding Citizenship awards for her class, one for a boy and the other for a girl. Guess who the girl who got it was... :')

Back to the present... :P

I was just studying some new content for my virtual math class when two boys walked up to the media specialist to talk to her about something. I heard my name in their conversation. O_O

One of the boys: (I could barely catch this.) We need.... Abigail... for something.
Me: Wha... huh? O_O
Boy: ...testing...
Me: (thinks: WHAT TEST?!?! O_________O) -goes with the boys- O_O

Walking with the boys down the hallway reminded me of another memory of 5th grade, when I had to go with two other kids to take a test to get into Target (basically the AC program of my elementary school). During my first Target test, everyone who was testing to get into Target for the second semester of that year was in the room. Apparently we only had to take more tests if they were required in order to see if we were really suited for Target or not.

During the second test, half of the kids that were there before showed up...

The third test... there was only 3 of us...

The fourth test...

Me: (to the Target teacher) Are there any more students we need to get...? :\
Target Teacher: Nope, you're the only one. :)
Me: O__O

I did end up getting into Target, and I was SO GLAD I did! Target was an AMAZING experience for me!!! Thursdays became my favorite day of the week during the second half of 5th grade because of that. :D :D :D

Ok, BACK to today... (I'm really getting off-track. XD)

It wasn't until I arrived at the Windows Lab and saw the computer screens that the realization hit me. I was absent during the second day that we took a computer knowledge test in Science, specifically March 14...

March 14... the day I was supposed to do my debate... D:

I already completed the first part of this test on March 13, but I wasn't at school to complete the second part and the survey because I had a dreadful flu, so I had to make it up today. As you can probably tell, I still feel a little guilty for not staying home and resting before my debate sometimes. D:

It also felt kind of strange having Mrs. Raymond in the room while we took our tests instead of Mrs. Quenan...

During 6th period, Mrs. Bonstein showed us an EXTREMELY emotional PowerPoint based off of our class book, Night by Elie Wiesel, and she used music from her phone to emphasize some of the slides (she did this during the first week of school with the Dream PowerPoint as well :P). It was so emotional!!! I ended up crying along with 2 of my classmates. The first half was really sad... the other half more cheerful. Here was my favorite song of the songs she played during the presentation. It's also my favorite song by The Beatles. :D

All credit goes to the Beatles and the creator of this video. Again, I do not own the song or the video. Enjoy. :P

That's all for now, and TGIF!!! :D

HOLY... COW... O__O

Hey everyone. 3rd period (Band) was EXTREMELY unusual for me today. O_O We had just set up our instruments and were getting ready to play for the first time since Spring Break (yesterday my high school's band director came and talked to us about high school band) when a scent filled the band room that smelled like something was BURNING (it smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette)!!! O_O Mrs. Pezold, our band director, looked around the band room to see if she could figure out where the smell was coming from, but she couldn't find the source of the smell anywhere. Mrs. Pezold called the front office to ask if they could send an administrator down to inspect the band room. Sure enough, both Dr. Nelson, the PE/Connections assistant principal, and Mr. Friedman, the 6th grade assistant principal, arrived in the band room just a few minutes after she called the office. At this point I was completely confused as our class was evacuated to the theater and I left my belongings behind, including my purse. (HUGE MISTAKE)

BEEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEP!!!

We were right; something suspicious had occurred in the band room, and the whole school was evacuated.

More than half an hour went by of us standing in the field doing nothing when all of the classes were allowed to go back in the building... except us. >:l Apparently the situation had just occurred in the band room. Because of this, we moved back to the theater.

Apparently they had just installed new filters in the ceiling above the band room yesterday, and two objects in the ceiling were rubbing up against each other that were not supposed to be, creating flare sparks. Not only that, but all the 8th graders had to stay with their 3rd period classes for 20 more minutes before they were dismissed to 5th period.

This was when I learned I might have to report to 5th period without some of my stuff.

At this point I was completely TORN. Let's see... I didn't have my Night book, my agenda, or my folder with my Drama Club scripts and Health worksheets in it. Worst of all, I didn't have my purse... My pencils were in my purse. Wait how in the world was I supposed to complete the test and quizzes I had today without a pencil to write with?! Not only that, but how was I supposed to turn my phone on and call anyone if there was an emergency? I was crying at this point... I feared that I would not be able to see any of my things again, which would mean I would have to explain to Mr. Rodriguez tomorrow why I didn't have my Spanish notebook along with many other things (like getting a new phone). Trust me, I didn't look forward to that. :(

Luckily Mrs. Pezold told us that an announcement might come on later telling us to come get our things. :l

After we were dismissed from 3rd period, I walked extremely fast to my locker with anxiety and took out the stuff I could use for 5th and 6th period. How would I explain to Mrs. Bonstein why I didn't have some of the things that would normally be essential for that period? I didn't have much time to think... I stormed across the hallway, fighting back tears...

Before I knew it, I was standing in front of Mrs. Bonstein, half-sobbing as I explained what happened.

Mrs. Bonstein: Yes, I know. I understand. -nods-

There was so much going on that I can barely remember her response. :P

I WAS SO RELIEVED that she understood what had happened! We still had to do our daily warm-up, but I already had paper in my Social Studies binder and I borrowed my classmate's pen. :P

15 minutes into class, the announcements came on with news that almost made me LEAP for joy.

Announcements: 8th grade students in 3rd period Band- (all the other Band students get up LOL)- may now report to the band room to get your things. Mrs. Pezold is waiting for you.

Me: (thinks: YAY!!!! :D)

I even saw a 6th grade friend of mine on the way to Band who I bonded with during my last year on my middle school's Science Olympiad team. :D

Other than the fact that our schedule for the rest of the day was REALLY wacky, the rest of my day turned out pretty normal. :)

I learned a VERY valuable lesson from this: NEVER leave your purse behind during a fire drill/alarm unless it's too far away to get to! (which it wasn't) I learned this lesson the hard way, and I am putting this out there for those of you who are like me and carry around a purse on a daily basis so you won't learn it the hard way like I did. :P

That's all for now, and have a terrific Tuesday! :D

Last Weekend of Spring Break :P

Hey everyone! Well, it's the last weekend of Spring Break. Yesterday was an EXTREMELY busy day for me. In the morning my parents and I rode our mountain bikes through the bike trails near us for the first time since Thanksgiving Break. In just 5 loops, I got completely adjusted to the beginner trail again. Dad kept asking if I wanted to ride the beginner plus trail yesterday, but I decided to wait until next time to do that. :P

That afternoon, I hung out with a friend who lives across the street from me (she's 2 years younger than I am), and we played soccer in her front yard. It took a while to assemble the soccer net we used, but it was worth it. :P At one point, the ball rolled away from the net and towards the driveway, so I decided to run after it and stop it with my foot. When I caught up with the ball, I slipped on the ball and fell backwards. :l

It wasn't until AFTER I stood up that I learned that I busted my tailbone... Ouch. D: Luckily my tailbone didn't crack at all; it was just a little bruised. It was PAINFUL though. DX

After we played soccer, we dissembled the net and baked lemon cake pops inside the house. We encountered a few minor baking "surprises," but for the most part the experience was simple and pleasant. We ended up baking more than 2 dozen cake pops, but we only had time to spread icing and apply sprinkles on a dozen of the mini-cakes we baked before I had to go home for the night. :P

Yesterday was a GORGEOUS day. Today, on the other hand, was extremely rainy and dreary. :l

This morning my tailbone felt almost completely normal again. :D Last night sitting down and standing up proved to be extremely painful with my injured tailbone. Apparently it took twice as long for me to sit and stand as it did normally (maybe even longer than that). D:

That's all for now, and have a superb Sunday! :D

Just In Case Anyone Wants a Little Humor... :P

Hey everyone! My stomach feels A LOT better than it did this morning. I think my stomach became a little upset while I was sleeping last night, and that was why I woke up even after only sleeping for 4 and a half hours. :l Luckily I was able to go back to sleep peacefully and didn't have to rush to the restroom like I feared (read my previous post for more details). Today was kind of a slow day for me, so I decided to post a link to a hilarious post I created a few days ago on another blog. Here is the link. :P

Funny Bans :P

Oh my gosh I can't believe there are only 2 more days of Spring Break... O_O

I know that was probably the shortest post ever, but not very much occurred today aside from the excruciating stomach pain I encountered this morning. :l

That's all for now, and have a fantastic Friday everyone! :D

Ow... :(

Hi everyone... Let's just say I didn't sleep very much last night...

Ok, so I was just laying in bed sleeping, and while I wasn't completely asleep, my stomach clawed at me painfully for food. This kind of thing is normal while a person is sleeping. However, after I don't know how many minutes of attempting to fall back asleep and forgetting my stomach ever felt so painful, I gave up and decided to walk into the kitchen to grab an apple before I continued my slumber in the refuge of my bed. I had only taken a few bites into the apple when I started to feel extremely light-headed. At this point my stomach clawed at me more, not less, than it did when I first woke up (which so happened to be at 7:11 :P). The pain from my stomach spread into my hips, and it felt like I was going to barf any moment. Because of this, I stumbled into the bathroom feeling exhausted and empty of food. I glanced up at my reflection to see that my face had turned a ghostly white; it had drained of any color it originally had. This was when I learned that the situation was more serious than I originally thought. I couldn't believe it, but almost immediately after I opened the lid to the toilet, I started regurgitating.

It was horrifying.

What did I eat recently that caused my body to reject it for no reason? The hamburger I ate last night? The chicken slider I had for lunch...? It's actually kind of interesting that it would be either of those because I had eaten both things several times in the past and they were never a problem. :l Maybe the hamburger meat was slightly undercooked? No, it didn't LOOK undercooked... The world may never know. :l

For quite a while I refused to go back to sleep. What if I had to bolt to the restroom again? It was bad enough forcing myself to eat the apple I grabbed from the kitchen...

However, my stomach actually ceased to claw as much just a few seconds ago (yay :D). Because of this, I may actually go back to sleep once I finish eating my apple like I initially planned. :D

Ok, here is just a quick note before you start posting negative comments on this. I am NOT posting this because I'm looking for pity. This is a true story of what happened just now, and I posted this because I want those who may be going through this as well to know that they're not alone and that many other people have experienced or are experiencing the exact same scene.

That's all for now, and have a fantastic Friday everyone!

New Favorite Rock Band :D

Hey everyone! I was just listening to the song mentioned in my previous post, and I decided to click around and see what other songs Nickelback produced. It turns out, almost every song I clicked brought back memories of when I listened to those songs during my childhood. I thought all those songs were by different bands all this time; it turned out, Nickelback produced all of them! :D There were only 3 songs that I didn't recognize right away, and 2 of them were from Nickelback's newest album, which was released after Nickelback's songs stopped playing on the radio. :( So far I haven't come across a single song by Nickelback that I didn't like, and I think Nickelback is going to become my new favorite rock band. :D

That's all for now, and have a wonderful rest of your Thursday! :D

An Inspirational Song :)

Hey everyone! Earlier my dad was showing my mom the band known as Nickelback, which is one of my favorite bands. They also listened to a song by them that I had been addicted to a while ago, and I decided to look it up and listen to it again. Instead of just enjoying the beat like I used to do, I actually listened to some of the lyrics, and this song describes my situation almost PERFECTLY!!! Next year I am going to high school, and I'm not going to be able to see many of the friends I made in middle school again (a lot of them aren't going to the same high school that I am going to). As a matter of fact, I probably won't be able to see any of the teachers I had in middle school either unless I come back for International Night. :( Not only that, but 24 seconds into the song there is a line that sounds just like something stated in an awesome poem one of my teachers showed me at the beginning of the school year (I still live by that poem to this day. <3). I decided to post the song on this blog because I feel that others need to hear this inspirational song and benefit from it like I did. :)

Anyways, that's enough of my yapping. Here is the song! :P

That's all for now, and have a thrilling Thursday (it's Thursday already?!) everyone! :D

YAY!!! :D

Hey everyone! I was able to ride my bike with my dad today for the first time since Thanksgiving Break! Omg I have been wanting to bike again for FOREVER and we kept putting it off! YAAAY!!!! :D Even though we weren't able to go to the mountain bike trails near our house like we usually do, I think riding around the neighborhood was a great way to get used to the excitement biking provides (and don't get me wrong; there are quite a few steep hills in our neighborhood!). It took a few seconds to get used to the momentum produced when biking again, but once I got used to it, my dad and I had a blast! :D Next time we're probably going to go back to the mountain bike trails, and we're going to take Mom with us!!! YAAAY!!! :D :D :D Here is a picture of me from back when we first rode our mountain bikes on the mountain bike trails on June 30. :D

That's all for now, and have a terrific Tu- oh wait it's Wednesday. Oops. :P It's really difficult to keep track of what day of the week it is when you're on Spring Break. Lol. :P

Anyways, have a wonderful Wednesday everyone! :D

Boredom :l

Hey everyone! As you may be able to tell by the title, I've been feeling kind of bored the past couple of days. There's not really that much to do around the house besides sit around, do the little homework I actually have over the break, and become lazy all day. You may think I'm insane after this, but I'm already starting to miss school. School provides a challenge at every turn I make on my educational journey, and I'm starting to feel lost without that challenge. Not only that, but school provides a set (and usually packed lol :P) schedule for me, and without that... I become rather lazy. :P There have only been 4 things about my school that I didn't like, and they're all kind of minor. Here they are.
  1. A lot of the classrooms in my school don't have windows. This makes it really difficult to tell what the weather will be like during certain times of the day (example: dismissal).
  2. The school food is really gross. One time someone found a bone in his or her pasta, and another time DragonWolf70 said her hamburger didn't even taste like a real hamburger. Luckily I bring my lunch. :)
  3. My school likes to wait until the last minute for a lot of things, including giving details for certain events and how to get the current year's yearbook.
  4. The school isn't always clean... I often find spilled breakfast and other unappealing messes as I walk down the hallways every day.
Despite those 4 things, I really enjoy school overall. :)

Wow... I already miss school and all it has to provide before even a week passes by since I've been there. How am I going to survive this Summer, when I'll be out of school for 2 and a half months just waiting to start high school? O_O

That's all for now, and have a terrific Tuesday! :D

New Background :)

Hey everyone! I was getting kind of bored, so I decided to free-draw for a little bit. Here is the picture I ended up creating. :)

I feel that this picture expresses my personality almost perfectly, so I decided to make this the new background for this blog. I hope you enjoy it! :D

Well, that's all for now, and have a spectacular rest of your night! :D

Failed Masterpieces :P

Hey everyone! Yesterday my mom and I went to the theater to see Jurassic Park in 3D. I jumped SO MANY times, but it was AMAZING!!! :D

Just now I was chatting with two friends on Animal Jam, lilysquinkies and Pinkie80, when lily wanted to draw a picture of me in real life on the doodle widget of xat. Lily did most of the drawing (except the right eye; I drew that), and I did most of the coloring. Here is the picture we drew. :)

Oh and if you want to know who is guilty for writing "Hi" on the drawing, you can blame Pinkie. :P

Not long after I took a picture of this semi-failed drawing (lol), Pinkie decided to scribble pink all over the drawing. I was a little upset at first, but I screamed "SCRIBBLE TIME!!! :D" and joined her. Lily joined her as well, and here was the result. :P

We are so weird. Lol. :P

Not long after we created these two masterpieces, I decided to listen to the radio Pinkie set up on her xat chat box for a little bit, when an AMAZING song that was popular back when I was in 6th grade came on!!! It reminds me so much of the days when my nana would take me to the park near her house (it was really pretty and peaceful <3) and I would hang out with all the younger kids on the playground. This song also makes me think about the times we spent hanging out in my nana's old house during my first year of my journey in middle school. <3

Here is the song. You might recognize it as well. :D <3

I do not own the song or this video. All credit goes to John Mayer, Taylor Swift, and the creator of this video.

That's all for now, and have a marvelous Monday everyone!!! (yay it's officially the first day of Spring Break :D)

WOOOOT!!! :D :D :D

YAAAY I HAVE AMAZING NEWS! YESTERDAY WAS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL BEFORE SPRING BREAK! YAAAY!!!!!! :D :D :D

I personally REALLY like school, but I need a BREAK from all the work my teachers were pounding on us this past week! (actually only one teacher was really pounding work on us that much... DragonWolf70 knows which teacher I'm talking about, for we both have her. :P)

Thursday started out average. Then it became a complete DISASTER, and it became fun again after school ended. :P

Here was what happened.

Ok, so my day was going as usual... until 5th period. We were doing a Think-Pair-Share activity with the predictions we wrote down for a certain topic we were learning, and I couldn't find ANYONE to share my predictions with! Everyone I asked was either not finished writing his or her predictions or had already shared his or her predictions with someone else. :(

I was almost able to work with one boy that I asked that sits near me, but it turned out he had to finish his DBQ essay. :(

After asking more than half the kids in the class, I gave up and decided to turn in the predictions I wrote down along with a paragraph I wrote on another worksheet (both were due by the end of class). To make matters worse, I was getting EXTREMELY annoyed by all the people fooling around while people were trying to complete the classwork our teacher assigned us. Our teacher yelled at us quite a few times.

It was a complete disaster... :(

It didn't end then either. I was just waiting outside my 7th period classroom for my Science teacher, Mrs. Quenan, to arrive from the Learning Lab (the Science Research classes were in there, but not the AC Physical Science classes). Apparently one of my classmates got the date wrong for when we were supposed to be in the Learning Lab, and he told us that we were supposed to be in one of the computer labs today (he didn't specify which one). Because of this, I RAN down to the Windows Lab near the 7C hallway to discover that the lights were on, but the room was empty. I ran to the Learning Lab in the front hallway to see if the class was there, but the lights were off AND the room was empty. Because the lights were on in the Windows Lab but not in the Learning Lab, I checked the Windows Lab again to make sure I wasn't early when I checked before (at this point I was EXTREMELY frustrated and the red card was up). Sure enough, the room was still empty. Furious with my classmate for almost making me late, I stormed back down the 8C hallway to see Mrs. Quenan's class filing into the classroom.

My breath came in heavy pants as I explained to Mrs. Quenan why I was as late as I was in getting to the classroom.

She also yelled at us at the end of class when many materials for a light experiment we were doing went missing AND a bunch of people hovered near the door when the afternoon announcements came on. (trust me, when Mrs. Quenan starts yelling, you know something is REALLY wrong) :(

I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MAD I WAS THAT DAY. >:(

Luckily, things got better once school ended. I was kind of nervous about what the advisement I had to go to for my high school's magnet program after school ended would be like, but it ended up being a breeze. :) Luckily, I already had an idea for what I was going to choose for my electives for next year out of the electives I had on my course request sheet. :) One of my schoolmates, whose name was also Abigail (she goes by Abby, whereas I go by Abigail, despite the title of the blog :P), was there as well. One of the advisers became SO confused because she forgot to read the last names of those getting advised before she came in the student information session room. XD

Adviser: -comes in room- Abigail.
Abby and Me: Yes?
Me: Uh, we're both Abigail... :P
Adviser: Oh, I forgot to read the last names!
Abby: Ya, it's kind of confusing. Luckily she goes by Abigail and I go by Abby, so the teachers usually figure it out after a couple of months.
Me: Ya. :P
Adviser: One second. -runs off-

It turned out, the adviser who came in was Abby's adviser. :P Just 2 seconds after they left, a tall man came in the room. He was my adviser. XD

After my advisement, I hung out with a bunch of rising sophomores and ate ice cream. They seemed really nice. :D At one point they even took a picture with the "incoming freshman." :P

Yesterday was filled with adrenaline and anticipation as I waited for school to end so Spring Break could begin lol. :P

Today my mom and I went to get our hair done. After that, we stopped by PetSmart to get a new litter box for our cats along with a cat tower. (Tiger LOOOVES it, Stripe hasn't seen it yet, and Disco... I'm not sure if she likes it or not. :P) We returned something that Mom bought to TJ Maxx, then we headed next door to look to see if that store had any dresses that would be good for my 8th Grade Dance on May 17. Unfortunately, almost all the dresses I really liked were sleeveless (sleeveless dresses are against the dress code at my school DX), and the one dress I really liked that HAD sleeves showed a little too much skin in the front. :(

Well, that's all for now, and have a spectacular Saturday! :D

Wow... :P

Hey everyone! Today was just absolutely HILARIOUS!!! :P

I was just going to Health (my 4th period class), and I saw Mrs. Bonstein and Mrs. Quenan talking to each other in the doorway to the 8C hallway. I was rather excited to see them there, so I shouted out "Hey Mrs. Quenan! Hey Mrs. Bonstein! :D"

Mrs. Bonstein: Hey Abigail. :)
Mrs. Quenan: Hey hun! How are you?
Me: I'm good. :D -starts walking off while still looking back at them, grinning from ear to ear :D-
Mrs. Quenan: Watch out, hun!
Me: Wha-? -turns around to see two policemen with a labrador retriever RIGHT in front of me- O_O Oh. Heh heh. :P -walks to Health class-

OMG if Mrs. Quenan hadn't said that right then I probably would have tripped over the dog and BOMBARDED the two policemen! LOL! :P (that would have been REALLY embarrassing... :P)

Apparently the two policemen and dog were there to inspect the lockers in the school, and they were headed towards the 8C hallway when I almost collided into them. :P

I learned later on that one of the lockers on the 8B hallway (just across the hall from my locker) had something suspicious in it. O_O

I also learned that while I was in 4th period, a few of the staff members discovered a WASP on the ceiling! O_O Apparently Mrs. Bonstein stood on a chair and whacked it off the ceiling. Before the wasp fell to the ground, it flew around really dizzily. Once it hit the ground, Mrs. Bonstein wanted to kill it, but our principal stepped in and said SHE wanted to kill it, so Mrs. Bonstein decided to let her stomp on the wasp. (lol)

This reminds me of what happened last Saturday, when one of my neighborhood friends was determined to kill Bob Jr. (a wood bee we found in another neighborhood friend's yard) :P

I'm just glad my mom wasn't there...

Staff Member: Hey, there's a wasp on the ceiling!
Mom: AHHH KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!!!! -starts cussing- :O :O :O

What's even WACKIER is that I started this conversation about what happened while I was in 4th period when I walked into 5th period and said "Let's not run into any more dogs... :P"

Oh ya, that's not all. During 6th period, Mrs. Bonstein passed out all the remotes for the Classical Roots test we took that day, and the screen on my remote was acting up.

Me: Mrs. Bonstein, the screen on my remote is acting weird.
Mrs. Bonstein: (to herself probably) Arrg... ANOTHER one is messing up?! (a lot of them had been acting up lately)
Me: :(
Mrs. Bonstein: -gives me a second remote- Try this one. Hopefully it will work.
Me: Thanks. :) -logs in to second remote-
Remote: Login Sent... Login Sent... Login Sent... (it was just stuck like that...)
Me: >:(
Me: Mrs. Bonstein, I'm sorry I keep complaining, but this remote is stuck on "Login Sent."
Mrs. Bonstein: Oh, here you go. -gives a third remote-
Me: (thinks: wow... I'm getting a lot of remotes...) I guess it's just luck of the draw. Thanks. :)
Remote: Login Sent... Login Sent... Login Sent...
Me: OMG -facepalm- >:(
Me: -waits until someone finishes the test-

(Someone completes the test)

Mrs. Bonstein: Abigail, there is a remote available! :) -gives remote- 3rd time's the charm!
Me: Uh, this is my 4th one... :P
Mrs. Bonstein: Darn!
Me: Hehe >:) -logs in successfully- YAY :D

Probably the most exciting thing that occurred today was when I learned I got 100 on this test!!! (it's not an easy test, trust me) YAY!!! :D :D :D

Update: Ok, I was wrong about the drug dog finding something suspicious in one of the lockers. I knew that wouldn't make sense, for the police can't even open any of the lockers unless they had a key. :P DragonWolf70 got more details about what happened than I did (everyone was still trying to settle in when I got the information, so I guess I missed some parts). Here is her post explaining the situation from her perspective. :)

Today's item and some news on School

Well, that's all for now, and have a wacky Wednesday! (did the morning announcements jinx it for me? My Wednesday was REALLY wacky. LOL :P)
