Yay!!!!! :D

Hey everyone! I actually just got back from International Night at my school, and even though it was short, we had a BLAST!!! After the introductory PTSA meeting concluded, we decided to visit the countries my teachers did (I helped out with two of them). My mom and I passed by Mrs. Bonstein's room, which displayed facts about Italy, a country I REALLY love, on our way to Mr. Rodriguez's and Mrs. Siano's rooms, and Mrs. Bonstein seemed so HAPPY! I don't think I've seen her as happy as she was tonight since we met at the Meet and Greet in August! I think I caught some of her cheerfulness tonight (happiness is contagious XD). :P I also tried the lava pudding (white chocolate pudding with red food coloring and oreos) she had. After that, I showed my mom the things I helped out with in Mr. Rodriguez's and Mrs. Siano's classes along with other things we put together as a class (or classes for Mr. Rodriguez's classroom XD). Then we checked out some of the countries the other teachers had to present, and they were all really nice. One country that REALLY caught our eyes was Japan. The decorative lanterns and tree displayed outside that room were SO COLORFUL AND PRETTY. I forgot which teacher did that. Oh well, I'm probably getting you guys all confused with all these teacher names anyway. XDDDD :P

And, to add to all this excitement...

I ACTUALLY HAD NO HOMEWORK IN SOCIAL STUDIES TONIGHT!!!

Omg that like NEVER (seriously, NEVER) happens!!! :D :D :D

AND it's a 4-day week (Friday is a Teacher Workday) followed by a 4-day weekend (Monday is President's Day)!!! YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

You must think I'm done, do you? Well I'm not. :P

I decided to post a song on here that brings back childhood memories (my dad played this song on his phone yesterday on the way to school). I LOVED this song when I first heard it in 3rd grade, and I still love it 5 years later. <3

(I do not own this song. All credit goes to Coheed and Cambria and the creator of this video.)

Well, that's all for now, and have a terrible- just kidding, TERRIFIC Tuesday everyone! :D :D :D

Hi (I can't think of a better title XD) :P

Hey everyone! I have some good news and some... not-so-good news...

Bad News: My throat hurts. I hope I'm not getting sick... :(

Good News: Today my mom and I watched Madagascar 3. :D I personally REALLY enjoyed the movie; as a matter of fact, it's probably my favorite of the 3 Madagascar movies! Although all the characters in this movie were spectacular, my personal favorite is Stefano the sea lion (Yes I got his name right! Omg I kept saying he was Francesco XD). HE IS SO CUTE!!!!!!! I can't even describe how cute he is!!! Here is a picture of him. c:

Well, that's all for now, and have a fantastic, fun-filled Saturday!

Oops...

I was just in my Language Arts class today, and we were going over comma usage and how they can completely change the meanings of sentences. Apparently I got COMPLETELY discombobulated when our teacher, Mrs. Bonstein, was reading out the Punctuation handouts before she gave them to us. When Mrs. Bonstein got towards the bottom of the paper, she read out "Which sentence do you prefer? 'A woman comma without her man comma is nothing,' or 'A woman colon without her comma man is nothing.'" The way she read out the punctuation symbols confused me TO DEATH. I guess the second sentence didn't quite register in my brain the way it was supposed to, because for the second sentence, I thought Mrs. Bonstein said "A woman: without her man, is nothing," which would have meant the same thing as the first sentence, "A woman, without her man, is nothing." Because of this, I just said that I was undecided when we voted on which sentence was better. Then she gave us the paper (she just happened to give us the paper AFTER we voted), and it turned out the second sentence was actually "A woman: without her, man is nothing," NOT "A woman: without her man, is nothing." OMG I FELT SO GUILTY! Me: -FACEPALM- OMG WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!?!?!?!?!?!?! :O :O :O

Well that was embarrassing (or at least to the girls that might be considered awkward); I attracted THE WHOLE CLASS'S attention pretty much too because Mrs. Bonstein stated that only the boys voted for the first sentence.

Boy: -sees me raising hand (I thought that the first one was CORRECT in terms of punctuation so I voted for it)- And Abigail!

Me: -is still confused- I'm undecided!!! (meeeep....)

So ya... guilty embarrassment right there, man. I COMPLETELY dissed myself, BIG TIME!

Hi.

I like cheese.

And chocolate for that matter.

But I especially like lasagna.

And sentence fragment...

After sentence fragment...

After sentence fragment...

Wow I really tossed MY grammar in the trash bin. O.O

YAY NO MORE SENTENCE FRAGMENTS! :D

..................

CURSES!!!! XDDDDDDDD

Well I used an interjection at least!!!

Oh yay two interjections!

Wow O.O

O___________O

AHHH INTERJECTION TRAP MEEP!!!

O_______________________________________________________________________O

I feel better now. (ROFL IN REAL!!!!!) :P :P :P

I'M CRYING IN REAL OMG!

Does OMG count as an interjection...?

O.O

Hey everyone! Today was probably the most unusual school day of my life. O.O According to the weather this morning, it was going to be between 62 and 68 degrees all day with severe storms throughout the day, AND IT'S ALMOST FEBRUARY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! O____O No, it doesn't end there. Just 15 minutes later, I went to drop off my alto saxophone in the band room, and this happened.

Me: -thinks- Daaang! It feels like SUMMER outside! O.O

(Mrs. Quarles (Mrs. Q2), my Lego League coach and the STEM teacher at my school, shows up)

Mrs. Q2: You can't come down here! You have to go straight to homeroom!

Me: -is confused- Wha...? Bu... but I have to drop off my instrument!

Mrs. Q2: You can't drop off your instrument now; we're in the middle of a tornado warning!

(Other teachers show up and say "Go to homeroom!" to some other students)

Me: Oh... ok.... -goes to homeroom- O.O

After I went to homeroom, we had to perform the duck-and-cover drill by sitting under our desks (trust me, it was cramped!) or going out in the hallway and "ducking and covering" if our classroom had windows (the classroom I was in didn't). A few minutes later, the drill had lifted, and I could go drop off my instrument and go to my main locker. Oh, and by the way, those aren't the only bizarre events that occurred today. As a matter of fact, the most absurd event of all was when we were dismissed from 4th Period, which is PE for me, to go to 5th Period. Suddenly, the Public Safety alarm went off indicating that a tornado was nearby. Of course, a whole bunch of students exaggerated the situation by running and screaming "WE'RE GONNA DIIIIIE!!!!" I simply rolled my eyes at them. When I entered the 8C hallway, the hallway where most of my classes are, I scrambled (literally, SCRAMBLED) inside Mrs. Bonstein's, my 5th and 6th period teacher's, room without thinking while the teachers were ushering kids in the classrooms. THEN we had to do the duck-and-cover drill AGAIN! Ugh...

Well, those are all the strange events that occurred to me today, and have a wacky, wonderful, FANTASTIC Wednesday! :P

Grrrr... >:(

Hey everyone! Today I was listening to a song (specifically Umbrella Beach) by my absolute favorite band of all time, Owl City. I scrolled down to see a chain of comments hating on Owl City. I didn't really mind them hating Adam Young (the person who produced Owl City) that much; it's their opinion after all. However, there was one comment hating on Owl City that I REALLY didn't like. It compared autism to stupidity!!! I'm STILL mad at that person for posting that because many autistic people (including me) could take offense of it, not just Adam Young. Here is the chain of comments featuring the mean comment and my response to the mean comment (I circled the comment that I viewed of as really mean).

Here is the link to the video.

Golly people... keep your mean comments to yourself... :(

Zzzzz...

Yep, it's official; I'm as bored as an exhausted sheep. At least the magnet admissions test I had to take yesterday to apply for the magnet program at my high school is over. Although the test itself was a little bit of a challenge, it was fairly easy overall. However, if you think about it, a little bit of challenge is good! If there was no challenge, I would have been even more bored then than I am now. :P The essay we had to write turned out to be a lot easier than I expected; I guess the people administering the test were going a little easy on us because we hadn't written a full essay in 25 minutes before (they also added 5 minutes to the amount of time in which you could write your essay, making it 30 minutes instead of 25). The prompt was really easy also. :P

Well, that was probably the most interesting post I've ever written... PEACE FOR NOW PEEPS!!! :P

Epic FAAAAAAAAILUUUUUUUUUURE!!!! :P :P :P

Hey everyone! This morning I was just getting ready for school, when Dad told me that the temperature this afternoon was going to decrease by 2 degrees every hour. Here is a script of what happened after that. :P

Dad: Guess what temperature it's going to be tomorrow morning.

Me: What?

Dad: Guess.

Me: (after a while of guessing) 15?

Dad: Yes.

Me: WHAT?!?!?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!

Dad: I'm not kidding.

Me: THE COLDEST IT'S EVER BEEN DOWN HERE WAS 18 DEGREES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!

Dad: Oh wait... That's what tomorrow's temperature will be in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin... Tomorrow's morning temperature is going to be 29 degrees with a high of 55.

Me: EPIC FAAAAAIL!!! ROFL!!!!! I am SO gonna post that!!!

Dad: WHAT?!

Well, that's all for now, and TGTITFBA3DW!!! (Thank Goodness Tomorrow Is The Friday Before A 3 Day Weekend!!!) :P

OMG OMG YAAAAY!!!! (another celebration XD)

Hey everyone! Towards the end of November, we separated into groups in our Language Arts class to write a paragraph for this Paragraph Challenge that was created to make us better writers when we write essays (I actually worked alone XD). We were also able to choose which topic we wrote about, which I think was nice. :) After we all submitted our paragraphs, our teacher chose a winning paragraph from each of her 3 classes and picked a winner from those paragraphs (the other two were finalists).

So a month and a half goes by, and our teacher finally reads the best paragraphs from the 3 classes. She started out with the winning paragraph, which I believe was written by a group in our teacher's 2nd period class. As she read it, I thought "WOW, that paragraph is AMAZING! Ya, my paragraph probably didn't make it to the final 3. :P" Then our teacher read the paragraph chosen from 1st Period, which was also really well done. Then, she started reading the winning paragraph from 6th Period (the class I had her)...

And I couldn't believe my ears...

SHE WAS READING MY PARAGRAPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O :O :O

At first I wasn't even convinced it was my paragraph! :O Omg I probably blushed so much... :P

Well, if there is one thing I can write, it's narratives. :P

That's all for now, and thank goodness tomorrow's Friday! :D

Sorry :P

Wow... I haven't TOUCHED this blog in FOREVER... Sorry guys. :P Anyways, here are some of the things we did today. :P

Immediately after I got up and made my bed at 11 am (XD), we got ready to go out to lunch and to see The Hobbit in theaters at 1. Why did it HAVE to end at such a HANGER (there are going to be 3 parts to the movie)?!

After we finished watching this 3 hour long movie, we stopped by Best Buy to pick up Dance Central 3 (we had already completed Dance Central 1, and Dance Central 2 was, surprisingly, sold out), and we played it some when we got home. :)

Last but not least, I got quite a surprise while we were at Best Buy; my mom took me over to the music album section to choose an album produced by my absolute favorite band of all time- OWL CITY!!! :D :D :D Here is the album I chose. :P
I'm actually listening to this album right now LOL. :P

Did I say "Last but not least," when describing how I got my Owl City album? Well, I have one more thing to say before I bring this post to a close. I only have 2 more days of Christmas Break after today, and when I go back to school on January 8, I probably won't be able to post as much on any of my blogs because of school.

That's all for now, and enjoy the last days of Christmas Break, or, if school already started back for you, have a fantastic weekend!

P.S: I do NOT own any of the pictures I posted on this post!!! Well, except the banner shown below XDD
